The Center for Southeast Asian Studies of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa announces the Third Annual Meeting of the Southeast Asian Linguistics Society May 7-10, 1993 at the University of Hawai'i. May 7-9 will feature papers on diverse topics related to the linguistic analysis of specific Southeast Asian languages as well as comparative, areal, and typological issues. May 10 will focus on language pedagogy and the teaching of Southeast Asian languages in particular. Interested scholars should submit 200-word abstracts and registration fees before March 30, 1993. The registration fee for students is $20, for non- students $40.
